-No #5 or #6 seed has ever won a playoff matchup in Lemieux’s League history.
-This week the current 3rd seeded team, Mario’s Militia, plays the current 6th seed, Dump and Chasers.
-It’s not out of the realm of possibility that these two teams could play each other 2 weeks in a row with next week’s matchup being the one that matters more, that being the playoffs obviously.
-A lot would have to happen for them to play back to back, and lets hope that they don’t, but can you imagine...?
-So it’s been a long regular season, all 23 weeks of it, and it’s finally time to wrap it up.
-While our minds might be on the playoffs or the off-season, lets give it one more week here so we can nail down all the playoff seeds.
-Relatively any team from seeds 2-5 could finish anyone from…well…2-5th place, it should be interesting.
-If you don’t have stat-tracker you might be waking up next Monday wondering who you're playing first round, or if you're playing at all. I’ll try to put a bracket up on here next Sunday night.

-Mario traded for Vinny Prospal a the deadline; Militia management’s response was 2 simple words:
-The Dump and Chasers don’t play the prettiest form of fantasy hockey, but hey, they win and they sure as hell put up a good fight:
-Based on the stats, Mario’s Militia should win G, A, P, PPG, PPA, PPP, and maybe GWG’s. Also, they own goalie #’s right now.
-Marko’s team own’s specialties. I like D+C to take +/-, PIM’s, shots, FW, and maybe SHP.
-Dump and Chasers is the greatest team at +/- of all time, easily. They are a mind-blowing, earth-shattering, bee-bopping +164 this year! That will shatter the old record…but I digress…
-My prediction:
-Mario’s offense is too much for D+C to handle, MM wins 9-6-3.
-Let’s get this duel underway:

-Midnight this coming Sunday night is when all teams will have their rosters locked for the post-season.
-The only moves you can make are if you have a guy going on IR or coming off IR. Then you will be unlocked in order to drop a guy to make room or add a guy to fill in the hole. Anything more than that will be reversed by myself.
-Next week I’ll unveil the new playoff records and what they will be along with the MOTW records.
-Record hunt, last week: 18 ppp (FR, HI), +15 (WI3), 74 PIM’s (LP), 211 FW (LP), 4 GWG’s (MM).
-All of these records were close but not quite, except for Mario’s Militia’s 4 GWG’s which ties the record.
-Bone Corp, Hoquet Icedogs, Reed Dynasty, and Mario’s Militia all hold the record for GWG’s in a week with 4.
